It’s Skin Power 10 Formula VC Effector with Vitamin C Derivatives
If you are in search for a serum that does A LOT of good to your skin in within a minute, I’d recommend you invest in a good Vitamin C serum. Vitamin C is known for its health benefits for your body, however, did you know that applying Vitamin C serums directly on your skin has great benefits as well?
Vitamin C Serums have been developed by specialists to enrich your skin with a high concentration of vitamin C. This is really good for people with normal skin, however, if you have sensitive skin, I’d advise you to go for a Vitamin C serum that is more suitable for your skin to avoid irritation. This can be done by looking in to options with lower vitamin C concentrations.

Why is Vitamin C important?
In terms of skincare, vitamin C aids in faster absorption of skincare products such as moisturizers and allows the products to really penetrate deeper in to your skin.
Collagen production is increased, which translates to plumper and younger looking skin! Collagen is naturally present in our bodies, however as we age, collagen production rates decrease and aging becomes visible. When going for Vitamin C serums, keep a lookout for either ascorbic or L-ascorbic acid on the ingredient lists. They are responsible for stimulating collagen production.
Protects your skin from UV rays. Did you know that Vitamin C is considered as a sunscreen? Well, it is. However, because it’s a weak sunscreen, it is advised to apply your usual SPF when out in the sun.
Brightens your skin. Vitamin C is capable of brightening with its natural bleaching properties. It has the ability to lighten areas that suffer from age spots, blemishes, discoloration, as well as dark circles. It is also a great solution when you want to get rid of any unwanted tans!

What is the VC Effector Serum?
A Vitamin C serum by the Korean brand It’s Skin contains Vitamin C and Green tea extract for brighter looking skin. The green tea extracts also work on soothing and tightening pores. It also contains PGA (Polyglutamic acid) which works on moisturizing your skin.
Just like every other serum available in the market, the VC Effector serum comes in a glass bottle with a glass dropper that dispenses about a dime size of the product. The bottle also comes with a plastic cap for the dropper which makes me feel like a chemistry student every time I use my serum. It just adds to the whole look. The bottle did not come with any box, but the whole thing was sealed. The only thing I wasn’t fond of was the lack of information printed on the bottle. Whatever little details was given was all in Korean.
In all honesty, I’ve used this products generously for about 1.5 months and I still have a few more uses to get out of it. I found that I went through this Vitamin C serum faster than the ones I’ve used before. I do find that 30ml is not enough despite that being the general quantity for any serum out there, but I think It’s Skin already listened to all of us and has a super sized version of the VC Effector serum with 60ml!
The VC Effector serum is thicker in consistency when compared to the other Vitamin C serums I’ve tried before. However, once you’ve applied it on to the skin, it quickly absorbs in to the skin, and doesn’t leave behind any sticky residue. It has a citrusy scent which I really do enjoy, but it fades away as soon as you’ve applied it on.
How to use:
Simply apply some on after you’ve washed your face. Tip: apply the VC Effector when your face is still slightly damp. This helps the absorption process.
For those interested in getting the most out of the VC Effector in terms of fading away those annoying acne scars, you should also consider investing in a good derma roller. Once you are done with the derma rolling process, immediately apply some of the VC Effector serum on your entire face and let the serum do its work. It will sting a little but trust me when I say you’ll notice a major improvement within a month. Keep in mind that this has to be done religiously while using other good quality skincare products.
Brighter looking skin and faded acne scars. The results with this one were very satisfying for me because that was the reason I reached out for the VC Effector. With the previous Vitamin C serums I’ve used up, the results were barely noticeable, actually I’m no longer sure if they ever actually worked for me. I’ve also noticed that my skin was generally in a much better condition when I use the VC effector along with my routine skincare products. I now know why this serum has been one of the best sellers for a while now!
