The Beauty Explorer’s Fitness Edit: Getting fit with L’Atelier Aquafitness
With a promise of having a lot of fun and burning 500+ calories per class, L’Atelier Aquafitness is one fitness joint you wouldn’t want to miss on.
If you are anything like me, going to the gym 5-6 times a week, has slowly changed from a sweet escape to a slightly boring routine. As always, I’m on the constant lookout for new, trendy & fun alternatives to help me get fit, and I’ve finally found one.
Dubai based fitness friends, our days spending hours on end running on a treadmill, cycling uphill and lifting weights are long gone!
L’Atelier Aquafitness is a high-end boutique Aquafitness studio bringing to Dubai an amazing healthy lifestyle concept revolving around Aquabiking, Iyashi dome and Detox Juice and Tea bar. We designed our Aquafitness boutique to create for you a new fitness and well-being experience and to make you feel unique and pampered. Our classes have a maximum capacity of 10 people.
I had the privilege of attending 2 L’Atelier Aquafitness aqua-biking classes* and your girl is hooked! Seriously, out of all the sessions I’ve attended during my 4 year fitness journey, those aqua-biking classes are most memorable.
L’Atelier Aquafitness Aqua-biking Sessions
The Aqua-biking sessions usually run for about 45min and involve a number activities on and off the bike working all muscle groups. The classes are extremely lively with music and vary in intensity (beginner, intermediate and advanced). Hence, whether you’re fit, unfit, pregnant, injured, or even a senior, L’Atelier Aquafitness has something for you!
L’Atelier Aquafitness offers a variety of aqua-biking classes to help you stay on your feet. Whether your primary interest is working on targeted areas (ex. Arms and Core, B.A.T – Bottom, Abs and Thighs) or if you are more of the Arabic/Latin/African music kinda gal (like me) there are classes that will suit everyone’s taste!
Although cycling in water with awesome music is what fitness dreams are made of, aqua-biking yields many more benefits:

L’Atelier Aquafitness Iyashi Dome
In addition to aquabiking, L’Atelier Aquafitness also offers their clients with the revolutionary IYASHI DOME technology that helps our bodies to detoxify.
The IYASHI DOME is a device using a unique technology to deeply cleanse the body, restore it’s balance and gain efficient and long-lasting slimming effect.
A typical session runs for 30 minutes and clients are required to lay in the Dome throughout the sessions. One session of the Iyashi Dome results in the loss of up to:
- 600 calories and
- 1,200 ml of water and unwanted toxins from the body.
The Iyashi Dome works hand in hand with regular exercise and a healthy diet. Furthermore, it stimulates weight loss while detoxifying, rejuvenating the body and reduces muscle fatigue.
