Makeup Favorites – April 2017

Come on. Just admit it. We’re all guilty of doing it. We all have the habit of sticking to certain products till they become an integral part of who we are even though we have a drawer full of alternatives. You’ve probably used the same blush since January 2017 and you just don’t see yourself reaching for the other 3 that are right next to it. It’s ok. It’s ok. I understand. I’ve been using the same blush since October 2016! And I don’t see myself changing it up any time soon 😅  Here are my April Makeup Favorites, in other words, here are my most reached out for products for the month of April.

April Makeup Favorites – Cosmetics

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation – In the shade Natural Beige. My go-to foundation as it’s one of the very few that match my skin tone perfectly. Provides medium coverage and suitable for all seasons. When it comes to application, through trial and error, I’ve come to the conclusion it applies best using fingers rather than a beauty blender or any form of foundation brush. D expect this foundation to appear in future Makeup Favorites.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector – I’m lovin’ C POP at the moment. Highlighters have always been and will continue to be a topic of debate when it comes to achieving the “healthy, dewy skin”  look. But If, like me, your skin lacks that healthy glow and constantly looks like you’ve only slept 4 hours the past week, then highlight we must! The Becca highlighters gives a natural healthy glow (when used in moderation) and C POP in particular is suitable for those with yellow undertones.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour blush – Dazzled. Obsessed is an understatement. Ever since Sonia, my BFF, gifted me this blush, I’ve never stopped using it. If you are ever in the search for a blush that give a subtle flush of pink, then this is the one to get. A little goes a long way so, you are most likely going to have this in your stash for years!

Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara – 1 Black. Long, thick looking lashes? Well, let’s just say it’s Bobbi Brown’s best seller for a reason aye 😉

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm – 225 Sultry. I feel this particular shade is perfect for any girl boss. You could always wear this to suit any occasion. If you want to rock it during daytime, then a little goes a long way. During the evenings, just pack it on and voilà. You’ve just achieved 2 different looks using the same product!

L’oreal Gel Intenza Eyeliner – 01 Pure Black. One of the best fuss-free gel liners I’ve used till date. It easily glides on and stays put for about 6-8 hours. For quick and easy application, I prefer to apply it using Bobbi Brown’s Ultra Fine Eye Liner Brush. The Bobbie Brown brush has a medium sized tip that comes in handy when trying to achieve a perfect winged line.
